1. About EKO

EKO is a skills practice and verification service. The current pilot offers a creator script/storyboard lab, optional AI coaching, hands-on practice tracks, and scripted reflection exercises. New skill certification, employer screening, payments, token rewards and chain writes are paused. EKO is operated by the EKO project team ("EKO", "we", "us"). By using EKO you agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction to enter a binding agreement, or have a parent or guardian's consent where permitted. You are responsible for ensuring your use of EKO is lawful where you live.

3. Educational nature - no guarantees

EKO provides educational content and skill assessments. AI-generated material may contain errors and is not professional advice. Existing signed records establish record authenticity under the verification policy; a signature alone does not establish competence. They do not guarantee employment, income, or any outcome, and they are not accredited degrees. EKO Academy is a learning community, not an accredited institution.

4. Accounts and credentials

You sign in with an email link. You agree not to misrepresent your identity, cheat assessments, or obtain credentials you did not earn. We may revoke credentials obtained through fraud. Historical proofs may have public blockchain anchors. Hashes are not encryption and may be associated with known documents or public records.

5. Employer features

Screening reports and verification pages describe performance on EKO assessments. Hiring decisions and their consequences belong to the employer. Employers may attest outcomes; attestations are recorded and publicly linked to the credential.

6. Payments

Paid offers (pilots, co-signs, live defenses, cohorts) are priced at purchase time and may be fulfilled or reviewed manually. If we cannot deliver a paid service, we refund it. Applicable taxes are your responsibility.

7. Acceptable use

Do not use EKO for unlawful purposes, to infringe others' rights, to upload malicious content, to attempt to bypass or game assessments, or to disrupt the platform.

8. Intellectual property

Work you create on EKO remains yours. Content creators retain IP in their materials; optional AI processing is described on the request form and in the Privacy Policy. EKO's software, marks, and design are owned by EKO.

Publishing a creator snapshot makes the selected content and public creator name viewable by anyone with its link. If you separately allow remixes, you permit other learners to copy and adapt that snapshot inside EKO with a source link. Withdrawing a link stops new access through that link; it does not revoke permission for authorized copies already made. Share only content you have permission to publish and adapt.

9. Disclaimers and liability

EKO is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, EKO is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
